The material development of CPD (Sindhi Urdu)

The Material Review Committee first workshop (SELECT) project was held on 16-19 October 2023 @ DCAR Jamshoro Sindh.

The second workshop was 6 days from 13-19 November 2023.

There were several tasks in these workshops.

1.Scope and sequence

2. leveled readers 

3. Read aloud  

4. lesson planning 5.Reading Standards 

6. Material development standards

7. Cross-cutting themes (a)Gender and pluralism

(b) Socio-emotional support 

(c)inclusive education.

The 5 core components of reading were the main indicators of the review activity.

1. Phonemic Awareness 

2. Phonics

3. Vocabulary 

4. Frequency

5. Comprehension.

Overall, the workshops were successful in accomplishing their tasks and objectives. The dedicated efforts and cooperation of all participants were instrumental in ensuring the thorough review and enhancement of the educational materials.
