My Six-Week Learning Journey with Team Pakistan – GPE KIX EMAP Hub

Dr.Zulfiqar Behan

Over the past six weeks, I had the privilege of participating in the GPE KIX EMAP Hub learning program as a member of Team Pakistan. This journey was an enriching experience that enhanced my professional knowledge, strengthened my research skills, and expanded my understanding of evidence-based educational practices.

Throughout the program, I engaged in a series of learning activities, discussions, and collaborative exercises with colleagues from Pakistan and international experts. Each week introduced new concepts, innovative approaches, and practical strategies for addressing educational challenges through research and knowledge exchange.

One of the most rewarding aspects of this journey was the opportunity to work closely with an outstanding team of professionals. The collaborative environment encouraged the sharing of ideas, mutual learning, and collective problem-solving. Through teamwork, we explored diverse perspectives and learned how evidence can be effectively used to inform educational policy and practice.

The program also provided valuable exposure to global experiences and best practices. Interacting with participants and facilitators from different backgrounds broadened my perspective and deepened my appreciation of international collaboration in education.

I am sincerely grateful to the School Education & Literacy Department (SE&LD), Government of Sindh, for nominating and supporting our participation in this important initiative. My heartfelt thanks also go to GPE KIX and the EMAP Hub for creating a platform that promotes learning, innovation, and knowledge sharing across countries.

Special appreciation is extended to Dr. Aftab Ahmed Shaikh for his leadership and guidance throughout this journey. I also thank my fellow Team Pakistan members, particularly Ms. Sadaf Raheem and all colleagues, whose dedication, cooperation, and commitment contributed significantly to our collective success.

Receiving the certificate at the completion of this six-week journey is not only a recognition of learning but also a reminder of our responsibility to apply this knowledge for the improvement of education in Pakistan. I look forward to continuing this spirit of collaboration, research, and lifelong learning in the years ahead.

Together, we learned, shared, collaborated, and grew.
