The Material Review Committee first workshop (SELECT) project was held on 16-19 October 2023 @ DCAR Jamshoro Sindh. The second workshop was 6 days from 13-19 November 2023. There were several tasks in these workshops. 1.Scope and sequence 2. leveled readers  3. Read aloud   4. lesson planning 5.Reading Standards  6. Material development standards 7. Cross-cutting themes (a)Gender and pluralism (b) Socio-emotional support  (c)inclusive education. The 5 core components of reading were the main indicators of the review activity. 1.
