Day 1st

ORIENTATION:
Training program was started with the recitation of Holy Quran.
INTRODUCTION ACTIVITY.
Facilitator made pairs and asked each pair to get to know each other and tell the made members about his or her fellow and participants did so.
Description of Aims of Training program.
A pre Test is taken to check the participants’ abilities.
Facilitators gave a brief description of aims of training program.
1.  The very important objective of this program is to provided a vivid points of new curriculum of 2006 and what are its requirements.
2. To enable the participants about Standard based Curriculum, Bench marks, competencies and SLO’s.
3. To  a knowledge the participants about importance of lesson plan and assessment and its tools.
ACTIVITY:
Brains storming , Ice- breaking and Think-pair Share are being used.
For explanation of curriculum , Standard, SLO’s and bench marks, Bloom taxonomy is also explained.











DAY 2nd
BEGINNING:
The session is started with the Recitations of Holy Quran.
Facilitator asked about last day’s learning and then he continued the teaching program.

ACTIVITY 1  :
 The day is started with brain storming activity by asking a question about “Text Book” and made pairs of participants .  Different definitions are presented by the participants and facilitator wrote those on board.
ACTIVITY 2:
2nd activity  is open discussion and made conclusion about the impotence about text book.
ACTIVITY 3.
Facilitator made group and gave them sheets to start the SLO’s with teaching material given in the text book and participants gave presentation.
TEACHING METHODS:
Different teaching methodologies are introduced and explained.



 














 DAY 3rd
BEGINNING:
The session is started with the Recitations of Holy Quran.
Facilitator asked about Last day’s learning and then he continued the teaching program.
Activity:
The day is started with 3rd topic Assessment  and types of assessment.
Facilitators asked participants to be arranged in groups and gave them different topics  regarding assessment i-e definition, importance, comparison etc, and then invited them to give their presentations.












 


















Day 4th

BEGINNING:
The session is started with the Recitations of Holy Quran.
ACTIVITY:
Facilitators explaned about the important elements of a lesson plan which include subject, class, grade ,topic, SLO’s , resources and assessment plus activities.
     Then thay arrange participant is group and asked them to make lesson plans includeing all elements every group made lesson plans on different subjects and gave theiar presentation . thay facilitator encounaged the participants.
Activity:
 facilitator asked every group to discuss vertically on important elements, whether the  SLO’s  are achieve able or not , which element can be chosen and share their views with the whole class.








 

















DAY 5th
BEGINNING:
The session is started with the Recitations of Holy Quran.

ACTIVITY 1:
Facilitator asked the participants to make a lesson plan by using text book of different subjects. The participants made lesson plans and gave their presentation.
ACTIVITY 2:
Facilitator made the group again and explained what is micro Teaching After that they asked them to make a lesson plan using micro teaching and the participants did so.
Activity 3 :
Teachers are asked to explain constructive feed back and what is the importance of constructive feed back in teaching learning process.
ACTIVITY 4:
Facilitator provided the participants with a page with 40 lines and asked them write one line about their views and suggestions.







 















DAY 6th 

BEGINNING:
The session is started with the Recitations of Holy Quran.
Activity 1:
Appost test is given for analysis and evaluation of participants i-e what else have they learnt so for.
ACTIVITY 2 :
Facilitators explained the objectives of implement of curriculum .
It includes preaching , training and examination and evaluation.
ACTIVITY 3:
Facilitator arranged the participants is gropus and gave them name according the elements of curriculum strueture and asked them to write the methods which they can use for implementation of these elements.

OUTCOMES OF THE SESSION:

1.Participants are knowledgable about educational reforms and the Educational plans of province Sindh.
2. The teachers have become capable of paying their role in application of new curriculum and  improve the ways of assessment formal and informal without being biased.
3. Participants got to know how to modify the step by step process of education clustering the schools together and school budget plus school management.

it was fantastic and a wonderful workshop regarding reading skills for class one.

12-Day Capacity Building Training for Govt: of Sindh Education & Literacy Department being held by Sukkur IBA Executive Development Center from 16-June 2014 to 28-June 2014.

It was outstanding training , i enjoyed alot the way of teaching no doubt it was interactive and interesting 




On the first day of 12-Day Capacity building Training our Lead TrainerSyed Ali Akbar Rizvi & Trainer Mr Farooq Memon took sessions on Change Management & Team works respectively.

Workshop conducted by Bureau of Curriculum and Extension Wing Sindh, Jamshoro, and
Provincial Education Assessment Center in partnership with EU is working on the development
of “Students’ Learning Outcome-(SLO) Based Assessment Framework”.

This Assessment Framework were developed to guide the formative & summative assessment and examination practices in schools of Sindh for improved learning outcomes in alignment with the new standards based curriculum.

I was in subject sindhi, i and my team identified progression of SLOs  and contributed a good framework in this regard.

It was 2nd phase SLO Bases Assessment Framework workshop conducted by Bureau of curriculum and extension sindh Jamshoro,provincial Education Assessment Centre (PEACe) in partnership with EU .
I did work on  subject sindhi class 1 to 5.
This assessment framework were developed to guide the formative and summative assessment and examination practice in the schools of sindh for improved learning outcome in alignment with the new standard based curriculum .
workshop facilitator were Uniza Alvi. It was outcome based workshop we did prepared a targeted assignment.

I joined from FM2 on 13th October 2014.A wonderful and very informative workshop is going on.
Workshop is pure on activity based and outcome based learning.
Participants including me learn a lot.

Foundation Module 2
Day 1

Reflection of the day.13-10-2014
Session started with recitation of Holy Quran and after that participants presented reflections of previous day.

1st  activity

Make a shape of Clock and ask any question from your next colleague.
It was a brilliant activity.

The outcome of activity was at the end of activity participants will be able to:


generate high order questions 
compare different questions on the same topic

This was very fruitful activity,I have learned a lot from this activity I can use it in my language class and i can use this activity in my other professional courses. Which I understand from this activity i can develop a higher order thinking of students like creativity from this activity.
After this activity:

  •  classroom discussion
  •  think pair share activity
  • Brain storming activity
  •  done by whole participants of workshop.

Day 2
Higher-Order Questions
After recitation of Holy Quran a hand out distributed in participations which was about thinking skills involved in answering questions. Participants were divided in five groups randomly.
I learned a lot from this activity, this was an amazing idea that how a teacher educator enhance the higher order thinking.

It was a superb activity because participants took active part in this activity and everyone was trying to success this group activity.




Day 3



Session started with recitation of Holy Quran.
Topics of the day were:
Blooms Taxonomy
Preparing outcomes
Prepare a lesson Plan
We learned a lot today we were busy whole  day in different activities , no doubt training facilitators tried a lot and participants  also took a good attention in activates .
Revised Blooms Taxonomy also discussed in session.
To prepare outcomes before delivery of lesson this was very important theme of this workshop.
1st time I realize that if a teacher develop outcomes and consider a backward design he /she will be success in delivery of lesson.

Group activity
We were divided in four groups and prepared a lesson plan   with outcomes.
Every group attempted  and presented a model lesson.
