ڈیٹرک کراچی کا سفر about DETRC  1972 کی پالیسی کے تحت ان اداروں کا قیام عمل میں ایا۔  پہلااے وی ایڈ سینٹر کراچی یونیورسٹی کے کمپاؤنڈ میں قائم کیا گیا تھا۔  سمی و بصری معاونت کے نام سے قائم اس ادارے کو  پھر  ڈائریکٹر اسکول کراچی  کے ماتحت کر دیا گیا ۔ ڈیٹرک کراچی کا سفر ڈائریکٹر اسکول موجودہ این جی وی اسکول میں قائم کیا گیا تھا کچھ عرصہ بعد  1974   میں لیاقت اباد قاسم اباد میں منتقل کیا گیا۔1992 میں اس ادارے کا نام ایوی ایڈ سینٹر سے ڈی ای ٹی ار سی کر دیا گیا اور ادارے کو اب گریڈ کر کے ڈویژنل کی حیثیت دی گئی۔ جس کے ماتحت ڈیٹک ٹھٹھہ بھی دیا گیا تھا،  پھر اس سینٹر کی کنسٹرکشن و توسیع کی وجہ سے ادارے کو گورنمنٹ ایلیمنٹری کالج اف ایجوکیشن لیاری میں 1997 تک منتقل کیا گیا تھا۔ اسطرح 1997 سے تحال سینٹر لیاقت اباد قاسم اباد کراچی میں واقع ہے۔

  About Zulfiqar Behan Zulfiqar Behan is a distinguished educationist and the Head of the Educational Training Institute in Karachi. As a Master Trainer, he has trained thousands of teachers and head teachers, contributing significantly to the educational landscape in Karachi. With a robust background as a research scholar, Zulfiqar has published numerous educational research articles in both national and international journals.   His leadership shines through the successful administration of educational conferences, workshops, seminars, and training programs at the DETRC Karachi, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Zulfiqar Behan is also a prolific writer, having authored two Sindhi poetry books and numerous articles published in Sindh's leading newspapers. His multifaceted contributions have left a lasting impact on the field of education and literature in the region.
